A message from the Founder

Greetings,

There was a time in my life when the pain was louder than my prayers—when survival
meant enduring silence, shame, and suffering behind closed doors. I am not just the founder
of Crisis Advocacy Program, Inc.—I am a thriving survivor of domestic violence. I have
walked through the fire of fear, betrayal, and brokenness, and by the grace of God, I
emerged not just alive, but anointed to help others find their way out.

Crisis Advocacy was birthed from my own story. I understand what it feels like to be unseen
and unheard, to cry out for help and wonder if it will ever come. That’s why this work is not
just a mission for me—it’s personal. Every woman, every child, and every family we support
is a reflection of the healing I prayed for, the strength I found, and the hope I never gave up
on.

Through this organization, I’ve witnessed what happens when we don’t just hand out
resources—but offer dignity, compassion, and truth. We create a safe space where healing is
possible, where stories are redeemed, and where purpose is rediscovered.

My message to every survivor is this: You are NOT alone. Your past does not define you.
Your pain is not the end of your story. There is life after brokenness, and there is a blessing
on the other side. With every program we run and every life we touch, my prayer is that we become a beacon
of hope—proof that healing is real and restoration is possible.

You are seen. You are valued. You are victorious.

In Love and Purpose,
Deloris A. Cattenhead
